Brief: Design a Floating Clinic
Site: Tonlé Sap Lake in Cambodia

My motivation in this project was to ensure that the clinic was self-sustainable and that it would help it's community not only as its purpose as a clinic, but to also educate its community.

A wind tunnel is designed in the middle to facilitate natural wind ventilation through the clinic. The walls are made of bamboo further ensuring heat is not stored within the rooms. The roof is shaped with long overhangs to shade the indoors away from the harsh direct sun.

A workshop is added to the space to teach the kids on hydroponic farming. Aiming to educate their families and communities through them hence teaching sustainability within the community.
